In Brief

Archive for Geoff.

Started a career with an MS in Marine Sciences (1993), that didn't work too well. Had a brief stint working on a PhD in the same, but alas... Began taking software classes at UMass, Lowell back in 1999, finished a BS in 2004 and have worked at a few software firms to date. I maintain a (now) modest home network, build my own PCs (with moderate success). Say what you like about Microsoft, but the world runs on it and will for many years to come; I am not knocking Macs or Linux. I've done some diving, and up until recently as a volunteer diver at the NEAq. I'm focused now more on recreational cycling, but the bulk of my time is spent renovating the 1900 Dutch-Colonial we purchased back in November of 2006. I am not a pro (yet). Bottom line: pneumatic tools rock! Any excuse to purchase a new power tool is a good excuse. My philosophy: DIY as much as possible.
