I enjoyed the first eight seasons of SG1, but mostly wathced the last two, and the Ark of Truth, because I felt like I had to finish it. Ben Browder was one dimensional and monotonic - not a replacement for Richard Dean Anderson by any stretch and frankly disappointing given his performance in Farscape; Beau Bridges was completely unconvincing as the General (or any kind of military officer for that matter); the story arc was just an add-on. Claudia Black was great, but only a part time character. +1 to the SG1 groundhog day ep! Atlantis is one of those shows where I never get to see the good episodes.
