It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.
This week, on the Geek Top Three we have our friend James weigh in on scientific matters as we discuss, Hammerhead sharks gives virgin birth, zombies raid the San Francisco Apple store, Blizzard whips away the veil of secrecy on StarCraft 2. On Boston in Brief, we discuss the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl and the Faneuil Hall Marketplace Taste of Quincy Market.
Any comments or suggestions?

How significant is lactase?
Thanks for the generous reference to my bowels in context of a regale. Lactose intolerance is common in people of Turkish origin, as well as far eastern people and native Americans. In this construct, it forms yet another evidence to the genetic link between Turks, who migrated from Central Asia, and the people of far east, and those who trotted over the frozen Bering on a sunny day of an unknown calendar.
The torture scene from Casino Royale movie is almost the same as it was in the book. In the book they had in the chair and they used a stiff bamboo (I think) pole that they bent down and let go to slap against his testicles.
And Atilla, your bowels concern us all.
Regardless of it being true to the book or not… a lot of unnecessary posturing when a good, swift kick to the balls would have sufficed.
The explained the reason for doing it that way in the book. Sadly, my brother has them right now otherwise I’d go check.
Reason: It’s a movie and this was more dramatic. ;P
I haven’t seen the movie yet, but the scene where it happens and how Fleming describes it is fairly gruesome and dramatic.
The title for this podcast, then, should be: Bowels n’ Balls
