For a fairly widely available, commercial schwarzbier I really like the Saranac Black Forest. I first had some in a sampler pack I bought for my father-in-law and we both ran out and grabbed some more. Good stuff, probably stronger on the caramel than the chocolate. Very smooth, slight hoppy aftertaste. I’d probably give it a 7, but that’s me.
