Drew Bledsoe decides to hang up the jockstrap.
I can’t help but feel that he won’t quite be remembered by all for being the talented quartberback that he was. In New England, and perhaps in Buffalo and Dallas, we knew him as a QB that was accurate, tough (possibly one of the toughest to play the game), and a fierce competitor. His only Superbowl ring shouldn’t have come while sitting on the bench. But, things never quite lined up for him.

This causes me far more sadness than hearing that Vonnegut died, since I never really liked Vonnegut’s work to begin with. Still a bummer he died, but I’m more pissed about Drew retiring. People can say what the want about the latter half of his career, but he was one of the best QB’s the Pats ever had.
