The Ugly Truth: So another beer from one of my favortite breweries, Wychcraft from Wychwood Brewery in England. I’ve had three beers from them so far (Scarecrow, Hobgoblin, and Fiddler’s Elbow) and they’ve all been pretty good drinks. Wychcraft is a good addition to that list, even if its not the best of the four. Wychcraft pours a strong golden orange color, with a nice inviting head on it that was a light tan/white color and not too thick. The taste started off with a touch of bitterness and then blended into a strong body with a mild citrus taste mixed with some malt. The finish was great, with a real solid hoppiness coming through at the end. Overall this is a solid, good beer but I don’t know if it is one I would drink all the time.
Verdict: Wychcraft casts spells like a 7 out of 10 bottlecap level sorcerer.
