A little help.

Pandemonium Books has been a haven for science fiction fans, fantasy fans, role-playing gamers, and the like since 1989. Originally, calling Harvard Square home, and recenlty relocating — not too far away — to Central Square (Cambridge), Pandemonium has remained and survived despite many independent booksellers closing up shop because of competition from corporate giants like Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Unfortunately, Pandemonium is in trouble and searching for ways to persevere. Recently, they have begun buying and trading used videogames as a way to attract a new set of customer to the store. Also, Pandemonium will be offering up t-shirts (the uniform of any true geek) as a way to stave off the creditors. Tyler Stewart, owner of Pandemonium, recently announced the sale of t-shirts in a sort of state of the store address sent to its customers. So, if you care at all about a tiny store in Cambridge, check out the t-shirts as they become available. Or, maybe just as good as buying a t-shirt, head to the store and buy something… I hear there are a like 37* Carcassonne expansions.

*37 might be a slight exaggeration.

It would be a shame if Pandemonium games went under. That place is fantastic.

I don’t think there is 37, but I do believe the newest expansion, Pimp and Whores, will be coming out soon.

I have all the expansions, including the tower… I am itching to play it.

And yes, I endorse local small business… *as I quietly burn all my Amazon boxes…*
