Warfish update.

Warfish gameboardI haven’t had me a good game of Warfish in a little while. And, it used to be that in order to play, someone would have to send you an invite. Now, current players can recruit others to join the fun. Not only that, but you can watch your network of recruits grow. Very cool stuff. So, if you are interested in playing, hit up the following link:

Oh, and if you aren’t sure what Warfish is… we mentioned a while ago.

If you’re going to create a game, use my yahoo address. Plus try and use the pre-Beta site if possible since the Beta site is horrible.

I think I won that game.

Erm, wasn’t the invite basically just you asking random other people to play? How is this different?

I guess its different in a couple respects. For one, the old process had to be initiated by the inviter. I, as a member, had to seek out new players. Now, the invitee can initiate the process. Also, you can now track the invites by watching a “recruit network” grow. Kinda a neat way to watch the game spread in popularity. Imagine if Google allowed you to see a network map of Gmail invites you sent (and the invites they, in turn, sent).
