Wits and Wagers is the game you talk about. (The gambling/trivia game.) Published by Eagle Games and North Star Games.
Very fun game for the sorts of situations you describe.

The Dish DVR software isn’t very good — I have it, so I should know. I’d love to report that it’s awesome, and having two tuners is nice, but the software quality, quite frankly, is not there yet (it feels like a beta product at times).

I’m thinking about switching to an MCE box, but I’m not sure if can handle a dual-tuner Dish receiver. Carl, do you happen to know if that’s the case? Is there any peripheral I could use to control a radio-based tuner using an MCE box?

Do you have DishNetwork? I don’t know why I thought you had DirecTV.  I will want to check it out next time I am there.
I know that my Dish receiver has dual tuners. but having one tuner controlled via IR and the other UHF poses a problem. Homebrew PVRs only have the ability to control via IR (or serial) as far as I know.  If it were IR, MCE or something like BeyondTV should have no problem.

Aw, crap. You see, I wrote “Dish” like three times there, but of course, I have DirecTV, not Dish.

    So yeah.

    s/Dish DVR/DirecTV DVR/g
    s/Dish receiver/DirecTV receiver/g

    Fixed!

Crap. I was really hoping to get a look at the UI for the DishNetwork DVR.

I was curious if anyone has tried this Sports Handicapping Service? I saw his video on Youtube and it turns out the service is sold through clickbank which means it comes with a 60 day money back guarantee. Was inquiring what peoples thoughts were.
