The Ugly Truth: I’ve said it before, and I will say it again: Never, ever trust a beer that does not form a head upon pouring. EVER! So can anyone guess what my feelings on this beer are? Yes, you in the back? What…speak up…yes you are CORRECT SIR!! This stuff was horrible. It poured with absolutely no head. Nothing. Some bubbles that looked like soap foam at most. It looked like brown water when it poured. Color was a midrange amber. Inital taste was horrible. Extremely flat with a massive bitter taste to it. I’ve had a number of English Strong Ales, and this tasted nothing like one. It was flat, with this rancid bitterness to it that was extremely unappealing. The aftertaste made me want to scrap my tongue and I felt slightly ill afterwards. So needless to say, I’m not giving this a ringing endorsement.

Verdict: Dorothy’s Goodbody needs some serious plastic surgery to recovery from this 2 out of 10 bottlecaps.
