    Worst…opening…ever

See, no one appreciates the humor in it. I figured what is more funny than having an uber-patriotic song in the background considering how anti-patriotic Carl is.

I guess in that light it was okay. However, I would have preferred “America, Fuck Yeah” from Team America.

That reminds me… I need to expedite that movie up my Netflix queue.

That was indeed a fantastic Carl rant on ‘net neutrality. Kudos. I’ve been hearing a simmering tension when ‘net issues come up, that was a worthy blast. It is rather scummy (but predictable) that Verizon would be one of the Bells leading the charge. They lose so much money on something like DSL since they view it as a sticky product, but then the users chow down on the bandwidth (including for VoIP calls with third party vendors, for instance) so they (VZ) look to other methods to try and make some moolah. It’s typical. Bells like VZ crapped all over DSL when it was first introduced, screaming that it would never work, but when they were proven wrong and companies like Northpoint made millions overnight, they jumped all over it and whored it out and did what they could to screw other vendors – VZ NEVER enforced the 18K ft SDSL distance restriction until they began offering their own xDSL service, as soon as they did if a DSL order came in at 18,005 feet they refused to install. Typical Bell MO – whine about an innovative product or company, crap all over it, then when it proves successful, use Big Bell push to try and grab a piece of the action.

I still can’t believe you called people from Louisiana “Shrimp-sucking morons”
    So very PC.

I don’t discriminate based on race, social status, (most) religious faiths (fuck you, Scientology), or age.

But if they wanna be shrimp-sucking, sister-boning, catfish-fryin’, barefoot-roamin’ asshat videogame haters, well, then the gloves are off. :)
