iTunes grabbed Ep 32 for me instead of 33 again.

Ditto, same here re: EP 32

Any judge who uses the wiki as a source for a judgement should be removed from the bench.

See, you guys died because Gorg wasn’t there whipping the crap out of him with his spiked chain.

    RE: Podcast Ep and iTunes
Not sure why this has been happening lately, but I fixed it. Not sure how long it will take until iTunes grabs the fixed feed.

    RE: The Banewarrens
Yes, we could have used another player and Gorg would most certainly have been able to deal that last HP of damage. But, Meiji isn’t dead. He just was transported to another (random) plane. He could be in the plane of bunnies and candy.

    RE: Wikipedia
It’s not like he used it to form his opinion. He used it to basically gather some basic information regarding some basic topics. FYI, I did some Wikipedia editing this morning.

RE: Banewarrens. Or he could have quite as easily been sent to another dimension where pygmy goats are raping him as we speak. It amounts to the same thing, he’s the equivalent of dead.

RE: Wiki. I’m happy for you, one man fighting against an insurmountable mountain of ineptude.

Re: Banewarrens. Remy, if it makes you feel better, I’ll be playing a spiked chain-wielding rogue in Carl’s coming city of the spider queen campaign.

Vague stuff I can remember from the ride home:

Yes, Carl, for the thousandth goddamn time, the gmail gtalk dealie is just an ajax jabber client. You can turn it off and use trillian or gaim if you want.

T rate hikes, the short version: starting in ‘99, the state stopped doing retroactive funding of the T, wherein they told the T what they had to do and picked up whatever part of the bill the fares didn’t cover at the end of the year. Under the new forward funding plan, the T gets something like 20% of all state sales taxes and a couple other funding sources, but they have to balance their own books. Oh, and in the process the state dumped a giant pile of debt in the T’s laps. Add to that the large number of capital improvement plans mandated in order to get community approval for segments of the big dig (the Somerville/Malden green line extension, the Silver Line, couple others I can’t remember), and the T has no choice but to continue to raise rates.

Actually, a quick google turns up a good article over at the Phoenix talking about the T rate hikes. They mention most of the stuff I listed above, and frame it with the upcoming union negotiation the T is going to have to go through. I highly recommend reading through the whole thing to get an idea of exactly why you should be pissed off about the rate hikes, aside from the obvious “it’s more money”.

Fun time to be looking ahead to starting a job I’ll be Ting it to.

Also, Colin, as nice as it would be to not have to transfer to the bus, there’s no way that putting the full E line back in service would be anything but a nightmare. You’ll be a lot happier once you accept that.

And looking at how long it took them to admit that the 57 was a permanent replacement to the old A line, I’d say you’ve got another good 20-30 years before they rip up those train tracks, bud.

  10. 10 Colin

Ya, I have no problem with the #39 bus. think the bus is probably (at this point) a better option than light rail service. But, as the busiest bus line of the MBTA, it could use some improvement. The double-length buses are an improvement, but do they have to be so damn loud? Also, I am more pissed about the dicking around the MBTA does. Just make a decision and stick to it.

And, ya, it would be nice if they ripped up the tracks and maybe removed the Arborway stop outside of Forest Hills.

No Goblins in the SRD? You mean like these Goblins?

cf. Web 2.0, what’s wrong with O’Reily having a trademark on it again?

  12. 12 Big Remy

I was wondering about the Goblin thing

I’m glad you all had fun playing the Banewarrens. Sorry that you couldn’t seal the deal at the end, there, but I have to say, if Remy had been with you, you probably would’ve won.

Because I would be scared of what he would do to me if he had lost at the very end, that’s why.

  14. 14 Big Remy

That’s right, because I am the fucking shit!!!

    I do miss playing :-(
