I like to geek-out on music in addition to my usual geeky vices (accumulating tech, video games, etc). The latest music to get my geek groove going to is P.O.S.’s latest offering Audition.

P.O.S. is aggressive, hard-hitting hip-hop. P.O.S. is what you get when a young kid with a love of hardcore punk rock is introduced to rap. Listening to the album, the similarities in hip hop and punk are obvious. Like two side of the same coin, they can be made up of the same stuff, just with a slightly different face. Many of the songs will kick you in the face, like a combat boot in the middle of a mosh-pit.

Definitely worth checking out.
