Yes, the podcast should have been recorded already, but due to the holiday weekend and a little Dungeons and Dragons, it will be delayed for one more day. But, in the meantime, why don’t you check out the following vid of Peeping Tom on Conan O’Brien. The album dropped today.

By the way, that’s [...]

Beer Glassware

So in furtherence of the beer roster, I’m finally posting a link to a pair of good reviews of the various types of beer glasses available. One is from Ratebeer and the other from Beer Advocate. I personally like the one from Rate Beer better as it is more extensive than the one [...]

And I have triumphed, for I knew it would die.
Okay its not literally dead, but was pronounced dead by Nicholas Carr on his blog. And I agree with him, which will now probably respark a never ending debate between several frequent readers of this site and myself.
The Wiki is dead, but then it was [...]

Xbox 360 update *soon*

Major Nelson has confirmed that a major update to the Xbo 360 will be happening in about a week’s time.  Some of the updates will include background downloading (finally) and some marketplace improvements.
I am really looking forward to the background downloads, as there have been many a time that I wished I could be downloading [...]

Recommended Glass: Weizen
The Ugly Truth: Okay so that description [...]

Brewery: Paulaner Brauerel GmbH & Co, Munich, Germany.

Few details have been revealed, but Microsoft has announced their intent to purchase Boston-based software virtualization company Softricity today. No doubt, the virtualization technologies will find their way into the upcoming update to the Windows operating system, Windows Vista.
Edit: Ok, I was told I should mention that I worked for Softricity sometime before my [...]

37!

I won’t finish that quote for Colin’s sake, but anyone who is familiar with Clerks knows the rest of it.
So the internet trailers for Clerks 2 are up at www.clerks2.com, and I’m actually looking forward to the movie. It will probably not be nearly as great as the first one, but I’m a fan [...]

As written previously, Eventful is a neat tool that allows the masses to determine what types of events they want to happen in their locale. Apparently, it works. Wil Wheaton will be coming to the Boston area in July. He had previously confirmed that critical mass had been met and that he was going [...]

Free Skype

The folks at Skype have recently announced that SkypeOut (the service that allows you to call a non-Skype phone number from Skype) will be free for all calls from the U.S. and Canada to the U.S. and Canada. The detection software they use to determine if you are indeed located within the U.S. or [...]

P.O.S.

I like to geek-out on music in addition to my usual geeky vices (accumulating tech, video games, etc). The latest music to get my geek groove going to is P.O.S.’s latest offering Audition.
P.O.S. is aggressive, hard-hitting hip-hop. P.O.S. is what you get when a young kid with a love of hardcore punk rock [...]

The Ugly Truth: I like most of Red Hook’s [...]

Just played my first multiplayer game of Star Chamber using the Clave deck I had built myself.
I lost. Badly.
I was doing okay, and did get one Star Chamber vote away from victory, but he cut of my ability to bring more citizens to the star chamber and therefore destroyed any chances of winning that [...]

Stupid rain.

As mentioned on the last episode of the podcast, Redbones BBQ is holding its 10th annual bike party and benefit. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you couldn’t attend originally), it looks like it is being postponed due to rain. Make sure to keep an eye on the news & events page as they will [...]
