Update:
Looks like Ringling Bros. was in town (and leaving) for their next destination.
Original Post:
Not sure what was going on, but driving back to Boston through Somerville and Cambridge last night proved to be quite interesting when we passed a large number of elephants being led down Route 28 (going northbound).
Just a guess, but it was prolly Ringling Bros.
The Bruins always have to start the season with a long road trip because the circus takes over the Garden right after they start playing. Schedule says the next home game is this Thursday.
Thats what I figured. And it makes sense since they were leaving the Garden that evening. I wonder exactly where they head?
new hampshire, maybe?
Yeah that was freaky weiahd. Driving past the MoS, the *last* thing I expected was to be treated to a parade of elephants heading the opposite direction on the other side of the road.
A more serious question than “Where were they going?” is perhaps, “Who cleans up the inevitable elephant dung?” :^)
