I wanted to help illustrate how much work it has been to take everything from the guest bedroom (aka my office) and relocate in a condo which has little room left. Each object inserted into a room displaces another object.
This is why certain things that have managed to survive moves and trips to Good Will seem unlikely to survive now. Case in point are the installation disks for Netscape Navigator v1.22 which I purchased (iirc) for $20 when it was released (from Software Etc. if memory serves me).
Keeping them company in the trash bag will be my MS-DOS 6.11 disks, the installation manual for Windows 95 (lost the disks… yes all 14 or so disks… long ago), and many other things that should have been tossed long ago.
Anyway, just thought I would share my suffering. Now back to work I go.
I’m getting ready for a possible move in the near future (as you already know), and I’m going to be going through the same thing. I’ve got a whole room full of junk that I basically never use, but that I’ve never managed to just toss — what if I want to use that stuff again, someday? Right.
Yeah, that’s right, I’m looking at you, magic cards…
