Ex Machina: Cyberpunk tabletop RPG

For some reason, I thought of Dave when reading about this RPG. And, in my opinion, he needs to run a Paranoia XP game or pick-up this book (if he has magic money — aka in-store credit — left) and run a cyberpunk game. But, that is just my opinion.

The REAL William Hung?

Hello everyone. My name is Alex and please show some love for this is my first post here at this prestigious blog site. I was mindfully working at my cozy office job and, on the occasion, surfing through that service host for blogs which many people like to call Xanga. I stumbled upon a familiar [...]

Another Review: Olly’s Prison

Walking to the new Arrow Theater, I had very few expectations. I try not to go to theater performances with any preconceptions. Unlike movies, stage acting is a living, breathing thing. No two performances are ever identical, and occasional tweaks made by the director can subtly alter a play so that a [...]

Review: Olly’s Prison

Olly’s Prison
by Edward Bond, Directed by Robert Woodruff
Zero Arrow Theater - April 1-24

The Independent Film Festival of Boston returns with an impressively long list of film screeings from April 21st through the 24th.
April is turning out to be a busy month for me, but I hope to squeeze in a movie (or two?).

Move is complete… sort of.

Well, BostonGeek now has a new home. And, the move of the main database and files went rather smoothly. Unfortunatlely, my image gallery is currently broken, and I need to figure out how to fix it without losing all my images. Other than that, if you happen to see any weird behavior, [...]

64bit Windows is almost here.

Looks like Microsoft has released the 64-bit versions of their operating systems to manufacturers. This should mean consumers will have access to it real soon. So much OS news this month!

Take these steps:

Order a super-nice Treo 650 from Amazon
Order SprintPCS service from Amazon
Add PCSVision unlimited web service (again, from Amazon)
Attempt to port a number from another service provider

Take these steps and shortly afterwards you will receive a polite text-message from SprintPCS stating that you have reached 80% of your spending limit ($600) and that an [...]

It’s Just Too Much: A Rant

Well, not really. In fact, I doubt I am qualified to say whether something, or anything, is indeed too much, when taken in the context of the evolution of global civilization (although there will still be ranting). I might just be having another self-indulgent episode of introspection from which some great new personal [...]

In other Google news…

I now have 1.2(insert gradually increasing number here)GB of storage in my GMail account. Apparently, Google might be doubling the storage of GMail accounts, but doing it gradually.
The plan, visualized:

Google is tasty.

Google Gulp is now in beta.
I hope I get an invite to try it out. Anybody have a spare invite?
