Well, ok, the statement that MGM wants to outlaw Silly Putty may be a bit sensationalistic… I guess I learned that from reading Carl’s rants.

But, the EFF has been posting examples of everyday items that fall under the protection of the Betamax test (which is threatened by MGM v. Grokster). Today’s item happens to be Silly Putty.

I realize the briefs are rather dry, but do try and read up some of the basics. This is important stuff.
