The Dresden Dolls, a self-described punk/cabaret band from Boston (of course), has made its first trip to the city that inspired its name. There is a nice article in the Boston Phoenix about it. Unfortunately, the band will be embarking on a tour with the NIN, which means that it will be near impossible to see them live for a while.

If you happen to be able to pop by Northeastern University on March 24th, apparently they are judging a Battle of the Bands, and might even play a few songs.
