Melt Banana are about to begin a North American tour, and luckily for us in the greater Beantown area, they have a date scheduled at the Middle East Restaurant & Nightclub.

If you have never experienced this band live, then you don’t know what you are missing. However, they aren’t for everyone. They are loud, fast, and manic. Give them a listen if you can find some soundclips out there. Or, just go and buy a song or two on iTunes. One thing I can say with all certainty, they have provided me with one the most memorable live shows I have seen in a while.

According to the Melt Banana website, they are playing the MidEast on April 20th, but according to the MidEast website they are playing April 21st. It’s a little confusing at the moment, but I am sure it will be straightened out once I give them a call.
