Not in my backyard! (UPDATED)

EDIT: Looks like the right decision was made. Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one who thought the JeterCenter was obscene and vulgar.
Original article follows:
This cannot be allowed. The folks over at the FleetCenter cannot possibly be entertaining the thought of allowing the building that serves as [...]

More Apple Rumors…

According to an article in Reuters, there is speculation abound that Apple is interested in buying Tivo.

Let me clarify: NHL Hockey is as dead as John Kerry’s presidential aspirations. However, college hockey is alive and well in Beantown. Tonight, I watched my first college hockey game. A well-played game between the NU Huskies and the BU Terriers ending in a 2-2 tie.

This being my first post, I’ll keep the profanities so prevalent in my rants to a minimum. Well, I’ll try to, anyway.
On January 6, 1996, I moved from Rutherford, New Jersey, to Boston, Massachusetts. I turned my back on my ‘family’ and drove (okay, bussed) forward to meet my own destiny. In [...]

OSX Security Update

Apple has released security update 2005-002. This update is (primarily) in response to potential security flaws in Java that would allow an applet to write/overwrite documents and perform other such nastiness.

iMac rumors

It appears as though the wait time for an iMac ordered through the Apple online store has just increased. This is fuelling rumors that an update to the iMac is soon to be released.

The Gates of New York

A long while back, I found a good deal on the Hawking HPS1U USB Print Server. I believe I purchased it on a clearance rack over at my local MicroCenter. The device seemed to work well enough. It has a Web Admin Interface. It supports multiple protocols. It even (allegedly) [...]

Well, later tonight I will be heading off to Crooklyn to visit my sister-in-law and some friends. I really enjoy my trips to the Big City, although I don’t think I could ever live there long-term. I really enjoy being in Beantown too much.
There are no concrete plans for the weekend, although [...]

Melt-Banana come back to the East Coast.

Melt Banana are about to begin a North American tour, and luckily for us in the greater Beantown area, they have a date scheduled at the Middle East Restaurant & Nightclub.
If you have never experienced this band live, then you don’t know what you are missing. However, they aren’t for everyone. They are [...]

First Post!

After a long time without a site to publish to, I finally have made some (read: minimal) effort to get a new site up and running. The attempt has been made many times over. Often times the process would involve searching for the one Blog/CMS software that had all the answers. I [...]
